Affiliates
Better stuff than this!
Please give my lovely affiliates your visit! You will also find my affiliation requirements on this page.
My Light, a gorgeous Aeris shrine owned by Jessi, is and forever will be one of my favorite FFVII shrines. Like I've said elsewhere, character shrines were what got me into the series, and, well, here's one of them! She has plenty of interesting, thought-provoking content concerning FFVII's beloved martyr, complemented by an elegant and uniquely beautiful layout design. I was so honored when Jessi asked to affiliate, and trust me, her shrine is more than worth visiting. ♥
Fall of the Sky is a super-awesome shrine for Zack owned by my dear friend and affiliate, Akushiro. There's plenty of nice reads on our mysterious black-haired and sexy SOLDIER, all the more appreciated when you consider the lack of Zack fansites on the Web. She also has taken the time to gather up a nice collection of Zack eyecandy for all us fangirls, if the above hasn't piqued your interest yet! (And it should have.) All in all, a worthy addition to the FFVII fansite base. ♥
Libertine is the well-known Reno shrine owned by Alex of Valiantknife.org fame. Notice I said 'the', not 'a'. This is the Reno shrine, folks, and I couldn't be more honored to be an affiliate. Not only does Alex explore the character in great depth, she also does it with a snarky flair that Reno himself would be proud of. I mean, heck, there's a section for his mullet. You can't get better than that; visit Libertine now to learn everything you would ever want to know about our favorite redheaded Turk.
Cryptic Puppet is one of the only existing Cait Sith/Reeve shrines on the web. What's even better is how packed it is with both text and media content. And if that wasn't enough, my dear friend Aery decorates the site with her gorgeous fanart and eye for color. In fact, it's hard to pick just one thing that's awesome about Cryptic Puppet -- that said, I think you should visit it right away and enjoy one of the finest character shrines the FFVII fandom has to offer.
Pearl is one Janice's lovely tribute to Lenne of FFX-2. Like all of Janice's other works, this is an astounding effort with plenty of thoughtful reads, and a lovely layout to match. Pearl explores every possible aspect of a character many might toss aside as "just another minor NPC". You will find this site interesting even if you have never played FFX or its sequel, like me -- that I can guarantee.
Fated returned to the shrine community after a year of being offline, and we're all very happy to have it back. The site goes extremely in-depth with everything important when it comes to our favorite flower girl, from the extensive biography to the detailed analyses of her relationships with key players Cloud, Zack, and Tifa. However, especially of interest is the "Symbolism" section, which discusses important Aeris-related plot points, such as her infamous death, and their impact on the story and on the player him/herself.
There's also Even in Distance, which I've plugged all over the place already; also, fawning over my own site would just be weird.
Affiliation
I may not think that this site is the best piece of crap on the Internet, but I have my standards. They aren't very high, though, so you need not fret. I'm not going to go around asking for affiliation -- mainly because I can't imagine why anyone would say yes -- so if you want it, come get it.
- Final Fantasy character shrine.
- Decent layout design.
- Respectable amount of content.
- Preferably hosted somewhere where ads won't attack me.
